Невероятно представяне регистрираха в международния турнир „Академик“ двама млади ямболски атлети.Състезателите на Петрана Чамова от ЛК“Радио 999″ Никола Караманоловв и Зинга Фирмино не дадоха шанс на конкуренцията и спечелиха дисциплините си-съответно на 60м и в скока на дължина. В късия спринт Караманолов направи историческо бягане-6.63 и четвърто място във вечната ранглиста на дисциплината. Като отчетем ,че атлетът не е навършил години,е ясно какво можем да очакваме от този изключителен талант.И още нещо-само 3 стотни не стигнаха на възпитаника на Петрана Чамова да покрие норматив за европейското първенство за мъже.Сигурно е обаче,че товаще стане ,защото това е началото на сезона.
Само адмирации и за Зинга Фирмино ,който с резултат от 7.15 м спечели титлата в дългия скок ,а Зинга е във възрастовата група на 18 годишните , но вече диктува модата в дългия скок при мъжете. С успехите на състезателите си „Радио 999″ продължава да се утвърждава като център ,в който се правят елитни атлети.
