Много силни изяви регистрираха състезатели от ямболския клуб „Радио 999“ в международния турнир „Академик“. В бягането на 60 метра Никола Караманолов регистрира престижен резултат-6.82 секунди,който му осигури квота за участие в Балканиадата зала в Истанбул.Никола е и българинът с най-висок резултат в турнира. В скока на дължина Зинга Фирмино Барбоза,независимо , че е само на 16 години стана втори в дисциплината с впечатляващ за възрастта му резултат-7.04 ,който му осигури и квота за участие в европейското първенство за възрастта му. Треньор на атлетите е Петрана Чамова,която заедно с Никола ,зинга и още няколко състезатели от клуба и са на подготвителен лагер в столицата.
